Sofaygo is a 19 year-old Atlanta born artist, who has quickly become one of the hottest underground rappers to date. With hits like, “Everyday” and “Knock Knock”, it’s become clear that Sofaygo offers something refreshing and new to the game. His ad libs are angelic like his fifth mixtape, “Angelic 7” executive produced by Lil Tecca. He’s even gotten a co-sign from Travis Scott, who posted “Up off 1942” playing during his daughters birthday party. Drawing similarities to Playboi Carti and Chris Brown, it’s important to note two things. Sofaygo has the most unique ad libs in hip-hop and he’s growing a cult based following, fast. When you think of XXXtentacion or Playboi Carti, some immediate notes are their ad libs and cult followings. This allowed them to experiment with new sounds and consistently stay relevant in the ever so changing rap game. He’s received a nod by RapCaviar, which added “Knock Knock” to their playlist and was featured on the First On SoundCloud roster for 2021. Rumors are circulating that his manager, Lamaar Jaswal, is actively working on a Playboi Carti feature.
